Musical Theater Camp

Join us for our very first Musical Theater Camp. This one week exciting intensive is designed to give campers an all access pass into the wonderful world of musical theater that ends with a full production at the end of the week. This year we are proud to announce that our production will be INTO THE WOODS JR! Campers will be involved with all aspects of the show including creating and designing sets and costumes, and stage management.

Camp Classes

Campers will participate in a variety of musical theater classes during the week, including:

PRODUCTION & PERFORMANCE

Our camp production will be performed at the end of the week and each camper will be involved in every aspect of the creative process. Not only will your child be a part of the cast but they will also help design and build both the set and the costumes, assist with stage management and house management and work and learn alongside trained professionals in the theater field.

ACTING CLASSES

Daily acting classes will provide fun technical training and character building exercise that promote confidence and experience. The classes will include fun and challenging acting games and even some specialty training, such as stage combat!! The students will work in teams or as soloist to create, cast, direct and star in their very own short one minute scenes, which will be performed for the camp at the end of the week.

VOICE LESSONS

In daily voice lessons your child will work alongside professionally trained vocal coaches to reach new heights in their vocal abilities. Lessons can be very broad or very goal oriented, learning basic fundamentals like breathing techniques, pitch matching, projection and musical interpretation in any style of music. We provide a knowledgeable and well-rounded approach to healthy vocal production.

SPECIAL SEMINARS

We will have special seminars or all aspects of the musical theater world such as, resume building and headshots (where your child will receive there very own headshot to take home), audition preparation, movement and dance training, lighting design and sound engineering, and much more.
