    String Ensemble Workshop: June 17-21

    June 17 - 21, 2024 : 1:00pm to 3:30pm  (drop off begins at 12:45pm, camp starts promptly at 1:00pm) Immerse yourself in the world of string ensemble playing with our half-day workshop designed for beginner to intermediate level string players. Perfect for those with a passion for music and limited time, this workshop offers a condensed yet enriching experience in collaborative string performance. Workshop Highlights:
    1. Introduction to Ensemble Playing: Discover the joy of playing in a string ensemble, fostering teamwork and musical synergy.
    2. Accessible Repertoire: Engage with a selection of repertoire carefully chosen to suit the skill levels of participants, covering classical and contemporary pieces.
    3. Focused Technique Session: Receive targeted guidance on essential string techniques, enhancing your playing proficiency.
    4. Expressive Playing: Learn how to infuse expression into your music, adding depth and emotion to the ensemble performance.
    5. Short Performance: Conclude the workshop with a brief ensemble performance, allowing participants to showcase their newfound skills.
    Prerequisites:
    • Ability to read sheet music at a beginner to intermediate level.
    • Open to violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists.
    Audition Requirements: An audition video of the student should choose two contrasting pieces appropriate to their level of playing.
    • Video submissions should be no longer than 10 minutes.
    • Video Audition Deadline: Friday, March 22, 2024.

  • The Academy ECE of Arvada Piano Class

    Maestro Music Institute is excited to be offering group and private piano lessons at The Academy, ECE of Arvada. Classes will be offered on-site on Thursday mornings at the school beginning January 5, 2023. These fun-filled classes are available for students ages 3 and up. Group Classes are small-limited to 3 students per class and are 30 minutes long. Private lessons are also available if you would like your child to receive individual instruction.   • Voice & Theater Camp: June 24-28

This summer we will explore the wonderful world of musical theater. We will cover improvisation, vocal technique, choreography, and much more, which will all culminate in an amazing performance of some of the best and most favorite musical scenes today. We will cover audition prep, show prep, and delve deep into character development.  Break out of your shell and come join our journey. This class is open to ages 10-18 and will be a week-long musical adventure. Hope to see you there!   • Voice Class I : Fridays 5:00 – 6:00pm

    Do you love to sing? Come join class voice with us!  This 12-week class is for beginner students with little to no previous training in singing and/or music. Open to students ages 12-18 years old. Classes are on Fridays from 5-6p. Students will learn proper warm-up techniques, choose repertoire with the instructor, learn stage presence and have opportunities to perform in front of their class.  Students that participate in this class are encouraged to participate in the fall recital in December, but are not required to.
