This summer we will explore the wonderful world of musical theater. We will cover improvisation, vocal technique, choreography, and much more, which will all culminate in an amazing performance of some of the best and most favorite musical scenes today. We will cover audition prep, show prep, and delve deep into character development. Break out of your shell and come join our journey. Perfect for those with a passion for music and limited time, this workshop offers a condensed yet enriching experience in collaborative string performance. Workshop Highlights:- Introduction to Ensemble Playing: Discover the joy of playing in a string ensemble, fostering teamwork and musical synergy.
- Accessible Repertoire: Engage with a selection of repertoire carefully chosen to suit the skill levels of participants, covering classical and contemporary pieces.
- Focused Technique Session: Receive targeted guidance on essential string techniques, enhancing your playing proficiency.
- Expressive Playing: Learn how to infuse expression into your music, adding depth and emotion to the ensemble performance.
- Short Performance: Conclude the workshop with a brief ensemble performance, allowing participants to showcase their newfound skills.
- Ability to read sheet music at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Open to violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists.

Tailored for those with a foundational understanding of the piano, this half-day workshop focuses on collaborative piano performance, technique refinement, and the joy of creating music together. Workshop Highlights:- Ensemble Dynamics: Dive into the world of collaborative piano playing, exploring the nuances of ensemble dynamics and communication.
- Repertoire: Engage in composition(s) carefully selected to challenge and inspire intermediate-level pianists.
- Technical Mastery: Receive targeted guidance to refine your piano technique, addressing key aspects such as finger agility, expression, and balance within an ensemble.
- Musical Interpretation: Learn the art of musical interpretation, exploring ways to convey emotion and storytelling through your piano playing in a group setting.
- Short Ensemble Performance: Conclude the workshop with a brief ensemble performance, allowing participants to showcase their collaborative and individual achievements.

Piano II Class is open to students 7 to 9 years old. This class is great for kids that have some piano experience and want to continue to improve their skills and learn more! Each student will work on their own keyboard in class, will be able to progress at their own pace and have opportunities in class to perform for their peers in a fun, and encouraging environment! Maestro Music will offer after hours care between 4:00pm and 6:00pm after Summer camp. The cost is $10 per half hour. After hours care registration needs to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. Please register for the after hours care you need below: -
